Veronica Poblano

Veronica Poblano marries the finest metals and stone creating unions of soulful art - brilliantly designed, exquisitely wrought and spiritually insipired. Her work is a compendium of elegance and skill. Veronica's knowledge of stones, expertise in stone shaping and multistone inlay is the reason the Poblano legacy is vibrant now as it was over fifty years ago when Veronica's father, Leo Poblano, enlivened stone with imagination and chisel. The creative energy which coursed through her ancestors runs deep in Veronica as well as in her children, Jovanna Clair and Dylan, both of whom possess as much promise as she has fulfillment.

Throught the years she has been the recipient of top awards and accolades. In 1998 the Four Times Foundation selected her to pursue a business venture, and in the same year she became an alumna of the Leadership Santa Fe Program. Vernoica is a member of the Zuni Tribal Investment Committee, Vice-Chairperson for the Council of Artists - SWAIA, and currently serves as a board member of the Ashiwi Awan Museum.

Veronica is mission-bound, identifying herself with her ancestral past and defining herself in a heritage devoted to preserving the future. Veronica's mission is evidenced in workshops she conducts at the Heard Museum and in her founding of the Leo Poblano Memorial Mentorship Program, named in honor of her artist father.

Vernoica is a consummate artist whose works awaken in the wearer the Earth's vibrations and power.
